Ursus / Small Eco Tote Bag

This design is inspired by one of my favorite childhood memories. When I was about six years old, we lived in a big blue house in the middle of nowhere in upstate New York. Out on the lawn stood a little crab apple tree, and one afternoon, as my family and I looked out the windows, a black bear wandered in from the woods. It flopped right onto its back under that tree and spent nearly twenty minutes happily munching on apples like it didn’t have a care in the world.

For me, that moment was pure magic — a mix of wonder, strength, and calm presence. It’s stuck with me ever since, and when it came time to choose a name for my brand, that memory led me to Ursus Atelier. This design is a tribute to that story, to the wild spirit of the bear, and to the inspiration that shaped who I am today.
